Tom writes and has long written for a range of magazines, websites and newspapers, from GQ to Wallpaper, New Statesman to Esquire. For a decade in the 00s he was architecture and design critic for The Times, and, before that, deputy homes and design editor at The Guardian. He wrote a weekly column for The Guardian newspaper’s Weekend magazine for 20 years, and before that was associate editor of Design magazine for the UK’s Design Council, and assistant editor of Perspectives on Architecture magazine.
